From the Pastor: End of Year Giving

Dear Friend,

What a year we have experienced together at Church of the Highlands!

Could we have imagined God’s work in just under 365 days? Who could forget about how we surpassed 100 baptisms as a faith family this year. How can we measure the impact of so many kids engaging with God thanks to the most incredible kids and student ministry volunteers? We recently cleared ten acres of land atop our property to begin the methodical process of moving forward to build our new facility along Highway 58. And our 44 sponsored missionaries are changing the world for Christ.

Recently, a young woman in the church named Kiya told me about God’s calling on her life into full-time vocational missions. A couple named Darren and Paula recently let me know how God has completely changed their lives here at The Highlands. Seven people joined our church last Sunday. We even saw a miracle from God in the healing of Todd Milsaps after our entire church interceded for this man’s heart to be healed.

We are a church that makes a difference and gives ourselves away. We do not have to do this—we get to do this!

We get to do this because of people like you who generously invest financially to this incredible mission. Thank you. No, really, thank you. Your giving directly changes lives for eternity!

I want to ask you a favor: Will you follow the lead from Charity and I, and give an extra financial gift to the Lord at Church of the Highlands as a Christmas gift to Jesus for His birthday? I’d like for us to finish the year here with financial strength! Remember you can give at TheHighlands.cc/Giving.

2016 looks to be another huge year of life change around here. The stories continue to emerge about how we as a church engage with those who are far from God.

All for Jesus,

Dr. Jeremy Roberts
